Learn what information Musiclly collects, how we use and protect it, which service providers help us, and the privacy choices available to you.

At Musiclly we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect when you use our website, products and services, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information you give us

When you create an account, subscribe or contact us, we may collect:

  • your name and email address;
  • billing details handled by our payment processor (we never receive your full card number);
  • account preferences and settings;
  • messages and support requests you send us.

b. Content you process

  • prompts, lyrics and settings you enter into the generation tools;
  • audio, images and other files you upload for cloud processing;
  • the tracks, stems, MIDI files and lyrics generated in your workspace.

When a tool is identified as running entirely in your browser, its source file is processed on your device rather than uploaded for that operation. Cloud tools send the inputs needed to complete the requested task to our infrastructure and the selected service provider.

c. Usage data

Collected automatically as you use the platform:

  • IP address, browser type and device information;
  • pages visited and time spent on the site;
  • which tools were run and whether they succeeded, plus the credits they consumed;
  • referring URL and approximate location (country or city level only).

d. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, measure performance and understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, but some features will stop working. See our Cookie Policy for the detail.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your data in order to:

  • provide, operate and improve the tools;
  • hold, settle and refund credits correctly, and process payments securely;
  • provide account support and technical help;
  • send service updates and important notices;
  • meet legal obligations and detect fraud or abuse.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Musiclly sends task inputs only to the infrastructure and model providers needed to perform the operation you request. Provider handling is subject to their applicable service terms, so do not submit confidential material unless the tool and provider terms are suitable for it.

3. Data Retention

  • Saved uploads and generated results are retained while they are available in your workspace or needed to operate the service. Use the available delete controls or contact us to request removal.
  • Operational logs and generation records are retained for security, support, credit reconciliation and reliability, then deleted or de-identified according to our operational schedule.
  • Account and billing records are kept while your account is open, and afterwards only as long as tax and legal obligations require.

Account deletion requests are processed after we verify the requester. Some billing, fraud-prevention, security and backup records may remain for the period required by law or our legitimate operational needs.

4. Data Security

Data is transferred over TLS and stored on managed cloud infrastructure. API credentials are encrypted at rest, and access to personal data is limited to the people who need it to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against every possible threat.

5. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you;
  • Correct — update inaccurate information;
  • Delete — request permanent erasure ("right to be forgotten");
  • Port — request an export of your personal data;
  • Object — refuse certain processing or marketing uses.

6. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small set of processors to run the service:

  • payment processing;
  • AI model providers, which receive the prompt and any audio needed to run the tool you chose;
  • cloud hosting, database and object storage;
  • email delivery and product analytics.

Each provider processes data under its applicable contract and privacy terms. We review provider access and limit the data sent to what is needed for the requested service.

7. Children's Privacy

Musiclly is not intended for anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we discover we have, we delete it.

8. International Transfers

We operate globally, so your information may be stored or processed outside your country of residence. We take steps to ensure such transfers meet GDPR and other applicable data protection standards.

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or in how we work. Updates are posted on this page with a revised date; material changes are also communicated by email or in the app.
